Please be sure to email us at info@cutcardstock.com for your GIFT CERTIFICATE CODE.

Below you will find some work done by Angelica Macias from Mesa, Arizona, using our New SO JEANS CardStock. Here is a little bit about her :

" A little about me and my company....hmmm.... I love to cook, I love arts and crafts and I have been beading & cooking since I was little.

Like many others on this site I have heard that I should sell my jewelry or market my food. I finally decided to take the plunge since I was layed off from my Underwriting job last August. My real passion has always been cooking because its the quickest way to bring a smile to the people that I care about. I love to entertain and most everyone hangs out in the kitchen waiting to see what I will cook up! =) "

Angelica created this Great looking Masculine Card. Below she has listed all the items that she used in making this card.

This card has been made from a white card stock base that has been layered with a dark blue jean color card stock from Cut Card Stock. The Jean card stock has been embossed with a pasley pattern. Black chip board has been destressed to look like worn leather. The card features an old 57 Chevy truck that has been stamped in black stazon ink. The card has been accented with bolt brads. The card measures 5.5" and is blank inside.

A Pirates Life for Me! This card is so cute and it really compliments the So Jean Blue Jean CardStock. Below Angelica has given us a list of the supplies she used in creating this card.

Made from a white card stock base that has been layered with a jean textured card stock from Cut Card Stock and then layered with a red card stock. The red card stock was embossed for a weathered look and the edges were destressed. The focal point is a cute little pirate girl sitting on a rock. She was stamped using stazon ink and then colored with watercolor pencils. The edges of the blue jean card stock and white card stock have been "stiched" with close to my heart pens. The card measures 5.5" and has been accented with stickles.

"Here is the second card. I also did a quick cupcake topper using the same bird on the card.
List of what I used:
Stone Washed cardstock for the base, stamped with swirls in black. Blue Jean cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots. Little bird stamped on Stone Washed cardstock, backed with a scalloped circle in Distressed white. Bird has a navy blue pearl for his eye, along with 3 larger pearls on the side. oraganza ribbon in a cream. Stickles and Pebbles Inc pearlescent chalks.
Thank you again, that was alot of fun working with your cardstock."

Here is what Julie writes about the Birthday Card that she designed: "Here is what I used:
Distressed White for the actual card base, a piece of the Blue Jean (really like this color) for the side and to mount around the flower, and a piece of the Stone Washed (like this one too) for mounting the flower, some light blue Oraganza ribbon, and Stickles on the flower. Colored the flower with Prismacolors. I am not positive on the brand of the stamp set I used."

Amber writes: "I created the bumble bee illustration with watercolor paints and black ink on watercolor paper. I scanned the illustration into my computer and transferred the image into MS Publisher. I created a simple card design and printed it out on my Photosmart printer on the Mohawk Ultra Felt Cabs, Cool While cardstock. I embellished the image with a little shimmer ink by hand. I cut it's wings and antennae out with an exacto knife and curled the edges. A simple design but I think by cutting out the wings and adding a bit of shimmer ink, it adds a lot of character and just makes it look fun."

Amber wrote: "I enjoyed working with your cardstock, I absolutely love it! I illustrated the humming bird with watercolor paints and black ink on top of watercolor paper. I painted the background image with watercolor paints as well and ink. I scanned the images into my computer and transferred them into MS Publisher. I created the layout, printed them out on top of your Mohawk Ultra Felt Cabs, Cool White cardstock. I embellished the hummingbird with a bit of shimmer ink by hand and then cut out the hummingbird with an exacto knife. I love to create simple pop-out stationary. It's so much fun to figure out how to piece them together and what combination of paintings and sketches to combine. Enjoy!"
