Amber Lawrence from Temecula, California of Amber's Crafty Corner designed this Christmas Card using Cardstock from CutCardStock.com

Merry Christmas Card (finished size: 4 ¼ x 5 ½)
Supplies:
· Basis Red cardstock, cut to 4 ¼ x 11”
· Kraft cardstock, cut to 4 ¼ x 2 ½”
· Via Linen Leaf Green cardstock, scrap piece at least 3 x 3”
· Cryogen White cardstock, small scrap piece
· Striped coordinating Christmas patterned paper, cut to 4 ¼ x 2”
· ½ “ circle punch (alternatively you could use a scalloped border punch)
· Large snowflake punch
· Small red button
· Twine
· White gel pen
· Christmas sentiment stamp (Image used copyright Stampin’ Up!)
· Versamark watermark ink
· White embossing powder

Steps:
· Score red cardstock to create a portrait card (4 ¼” wide by 5 ½” tall).
· Adhere Christmas patterned paper to Kraft cardstock; use gel pen to create faux stitching.

· Punch 9 of the ½” circles from the Leaf green cardstock and adhere them to the backside of the bottom of the Kraft paper. Keep the sides of the circles touching to create a scalloped look. Snip off any excess from each side. If you start from the middle, your scallop will finish centered. Alternatively, you could just create this using a scalloped edge punch.

· Before attaching the patterned paper with scalloped edge piece, heat emboss the sentiment on to the card base. Using the Versamark ink, stamp the image at the bottom corner of the front of the card base. Generously cover the wet ink with white embossing powder and shake the excess off. Heat emboss the image.

· Adhere the patterned paper with scalloped edge piece above the embossed image.
· Punch a snowflake from the Cryogen White cardstock. Using a piece of the twine, tie a knot through the button holes and attach the embellished button to the snowflake with a glue dot.

· Attach the snowflake to the card.

· Enjoy your festive card!
