Summer Fun Scrapbook Page

Hey all you summer fun campers, out there. What is better on a hot summer day than a little beach time? Not much...unless you get to spend it with your best friend.

I haven't created a scrapbook page in so long. It felt good to get back to my first crafting love. It's like going home after an extended time away.

I chose this focal photo because of the expressions on the girls faces. (sorry it is hard to see on the screen) I just love the sense of wonder and adventure they are having.

This is an easy layout anyone can do, just start with great photos and great paper and add a few doodlie-doos.

  1. Begin by cropping and matting your photos.
  2. Prepare a background by using a base of cardstock and a patterned paper with torn edges.
  3. Arrange the photos and embellishments on the page
  4. Adhere. Add a little journaling and voila! Summer fun manifested!
See, quick and easy! Check out these CutCardstock.com papers and patterned paper I used.

Remember, red, white and blue papers are on sale at CutCardStock.com until July 31st. It might just be the right time to get some!
