Tutorial Time with Lizzie

 Lizzie here, with a FAB tutorial on how to keep cool this summer.  I live in Texas and icey treats are a must around here.  And whenever we have a get together the snow cone machine is a BIG hit!  But sometimes bowls and spoons are just too blah for a summer celebration.  So I'm going to show you how to create snow cone wrappers using CutCardStock.com's Neenah Card Stock!
You will need:
Printer and Ink
Neenah Card Stock
Circle Punches (2 sizes no larger then 2 inches)
Scissors
Double sided adhesive (the stronger the better!)
Sakura Glaze Gelly Roll Pen (Black)
Gems
Pattern Paper (at least two different patterns)
Twine
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

First, save the picture below.  This is your template!

 How to print template:  Make sure to print this on Letter sized paper (Neenah comes in 8.5x11).  This photo should take up half of the page making it 4x25x5.5.  You may need to adjust the photo to get the desired size depending on how you save the photo.

Next, print this template out.  You can print it out on a regular piece of paper and use that as your template or you can print right onto the Neenah paper that you wish to use for your wrapper.

 

 Use your scissors and cut.  No need for a paper trimmer since we are just cutting the arch.

 Using your double sided tape, make sure it's super strong, apply to one edge of the cone.

 Roll up your cone and press firmly.  You may need to trip up the edges a bit so the cone is flat at the opening.

 Time to decorate!  Using your punches, punch out one circle each.  Here I used bright summer colors.

Using your Glaze Gelly Roll pen, personalize each smaller circle.  Then adhere the circles together.  I also doodled a big around the outside of the larger circle.  Once the ink is dry, adhere your embellishment to the cone.  I have also added some fun pink gems and tied some twine around the cone to give it a cute, whimsical look.

Now it's time to fill up that cone with icey goodness and relax!
