CutCardStock Design Team: A Farewell and Welcome!

Before we welcome our new Design Team, we'd like to give a big thanks to our outgoing team!  These gals have shared wonderful, creative projects with us over the last six months.
Thanks to Eli, Lizzie and Carol for all of your creative contribution and for being a part of the team!

Our incoming team is fired up to get sharing their creative works with all of you!  We have some exciting things planned over the next six month -- you won't want to miss out, so be sure to check the blog often.
Help me in welcoming the team; here's a little info on them so you can get to know them a little bit.....

Meet Amber, Design Team Coordinator:
I live in the Flathead Valley of Montana with my husband of nearly 14 years.  I've been papercrafting for almost 12 years and have quite a stash built up, if you can imagine!  I love working with CutCardStock and the design team as it brings together all that I enjoy.... design, papercrafting and working with other talented crafters.  When I'm not working with the blog and the rest of the CutCardStock Design Team, I am a freelance Graphic Designer and teach Graphic Design and Web Technology students at my local community college.  Oh, and not to mention chase after my husband, two boys and our puppy Goldendoodle, and help tend to our 100+ fruit tree orchard!  I enjoy clean and simple, textures and bright colors, but I'm never one to turn away from a chance to stretch my creativity.  I am so excited to be a part of the new Design Team!

Meet Jamie, Senior Designer:
Hi!  I am Jamie Cripps, a 30-something mother of two!  I live near Detroit, Michigan with my craft-supportive husband of almost 15 years!  I was introduced to scrapbooking when my daughter was born 13 years ago, but it wasn't until our first Disney vacation in 2006 that I became obsessed!  I am currently designing for several companies and working part-time at my dream role of a Social Media Director and Design Team Lead for crafting companies!  I have published in several print and online magazines and have done catalog work for companies too!   I am so excited to be joining the CutCardStock design team and can't wait to share my projects with you!

Meet Linda:
As we say in Texas - Howdy! I'm so wicked excited to be here and to get to know all of you. I’ll be bringing my brand of quirky-vintage-geek because, well, I’ve always been “crafty” and a bit of a geek. Evidence? I bought my first scrapbook from the Five and Dime and filled it with clippings about the moon landing way before scrapbooks were trending. In high school I sat at the nerd table, ate Ding Dongs and Diet Coke for lunch and wore purple polyester bell-bottom jeans. (It was the 70’s - everyone looked ridiculous.) I married my husband for his sexy math skills and together we watch Big Bang Theory reruns every night. So yeah, I’m THAT quirky, geeky and vintage - but NOT antique. I like to tattle on that darlin’ man, our two great kids, the puppies, my traveling mis-adventures as an RN investigating nursing homes, and life in Texas, y’all. We’re going to have so much fun together. I love that all these crafts from the 50s to the 80s are back - because now everyone wants to sit at the geek table - and, shoot, I never left!

Meet Pinky:
Hi there, I am Cristal but everyone calls me Pinky. I am thrilled to be here.  I live in Tennessee by Nashville in the country with my hubs, 3 crazy boys, 20 chickens, 2 dogs, and a Cockatiel.  I have been crafting about 7 years now (time flies!) and love every second of it. I believe that all crafting is art and EVERY single piece is beautiful because it all comes from the same place- LOVE. You can find out more about me on my blog- Much Ado About Nothing- www.blueyecicle.blogspot.com

Meet Christine:
Hi!  I am Christine Meyer, mom to three rowdy boys and one sweet girl.  My hubby and I have been married for 13 years and have lived in Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma before settling in to rural Illinois.  I teach music part time and stay home with my kids the rest.  I have been blessed to design for several different companies and be published in Creating Keepsakes, CARDS Magazine, and Paper Crafts Magazine.  I am excited to work with CutCardStock and can't wait to dive into crafty creations with you!
