Celebrating Baby!

Hello Everyone!

Today's project is an invitation for baby!  It seems every time I turn around someone is having another baby!  Here is a simple minimal stamping invite that will wow all of your family and friends!

For this project, I wanted a near white card with a pop of pastel color.  I used some Top Dog Dies to die cut my cardstock from CutCardstock.
1.  Make a card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.  Diecut a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with a border die, in this case a Hearts Border die, which is 1 3/4" in width.

Mount the border die on a piece of Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock that is just  a smidge wider; mine is 1 7/8".  The Cryogen White cardstock gives just a bit of pretty glimmer and shine through the negative space of the die cut.

2.  Using a corner die, die cut 8 scallop edge corners, 2 each of 4 colors.  I have used Coral, from the Basis Sample Pack,  Orange Fizz, Berrylicious and Bubble Gum from the Pop Tones Sample Pack.

Glue your die cut corners along the back edge of the Hearts Border die panel, creating a scalloped edge.
3.  Make a bottom mat for the card base from the Cotton Candy cardstock from the Pop Tones Sample Pack.  Cut a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White panel just a bit smaller than the Cotton Candy panel and emboss it with a polka dot embossing folder.  Adhere these panels to the card base.
4.  Wrap a piece of Sheer Organza Ribbon in white around the scalloped panel, from top to bottom, and make a bow.  Adhere this completed panel to the left side of the card.
5.  Make tags- stamp a sentiment on a piece of Neenah Crest Solar White cardstock and cut  it to approximately 1 1/4" x 4".  I stamped my main sentiment in black and then stamped a smaller sentiment ('for baby') in a pale pinky peach color, randomly covering the entire tag.   Punch a notch in the end of this sentiment panel as shown, creating a tag.

Repeat this with the Bubble Gum cardstock and Coral cardstock, making them about 7/8" and 5/8" x 4 inches.  Cut notches in these.  Layer your banners and tuck them under the bow.  Add pearls to the scalloped panel beneath the bow.  Add a button and baker's twine to the bow center.

That 's it!  Pretty easy!  I hope I have inspired you!
