Love Framed Featuring Classic Crest and POW Glitter Paper

This project, from Design Team member Lisa, is too sweet not to take another look at!

  • Start by collecting your supplies and trimming down your paper.  I am using the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock trimmed to 8 x 8", POW Glitter Paper, a stencil, the word "love" die (you could replace this with stickers), ink, and a blending tool. (Optional: Sequins, pearls, gems)

  • Use something to keep your paper and stencil in place on your Classic Crest Cardstock.  I used strips of washi tape.  Then start by dragging color from the bottom of your stencil and working it to the top.  To create the ombre look as I have done it is important that you always start in the same direction so that the darker part fades to the lightest.

  • Now you will need to add your lettering.  I wanted my word to stand out a little so I diecut it three times out of the Solar White Cardstock, and once out of the POW glitter paper.  I then layered them up and adhered them with Tombow Mono Mutli-Purpose Liquid Glue.

  • Finally, adhere it to your inked panel and allow time to dry before adding to your frame.  This is also a great time to add sequins, or other embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and we would love to see your CutCardstock.com projects here or on our Facebook page!
Happy Crafting!
Lisa
