Knowing You is A Blessing

Hello, again! I'm so happy to be sharing another one of my cards with you today. Let's jump right in!

I started with an A2 sized card base which I cut from the amazing 130# Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. Not only is this a very sturdy paper it's also incredibly smooth.

I used Versafine Detail ink in Onyx Black and Ranger Super Fine Detail embossing powder in Clear to stamp and heat emboss a simple sentiment onto the card front.

Next, using the Brilliant Leaf frame die by PoppyStamps I cut a frame from the CutCardStock Gold Glitter paper. I love that this glitter paper does not shed whatsoever. It's amazing.

From the Core'dinations Bountiful Harvest paper pack I cut several more frames, being careful to save the negatives.

Here's the rich, cocoa brown color,

the vibrant pumpkin orange color,

and finally, the lighter brown which makes me think of cinnamon; still keeping all those negatives. I also used the beautiful golden yellow but I forgot to take a photo.

I turned the gold glittery frame over and began adhering all the other colored frames behind it. This will give us some nice dimension.

I glued the stacked frame to the card base. I actually like that you can see little pops of color around the frame edges. I was initially going to use some fun foam or just frames cut from white cardstock to pop the frame up but I'm glad I didn't.

Remember all those negatives I got each time I used this die? Now I'm doing an inlaid look by popping the negatives into the frame.

It's as easy as that! I hope that you liked my card and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my tutorial. If you're interested you can find me on Facebook, at my blog or over on Instagram.

Have a great day!

-Samantha
