Love Ya A Latte

A happy coffee cup and a punny sentiment are perfect for sending smiles.  My project today features a beautiful panel of Royal Sundance Fiber cardstock in Rose.  This is such a delicate shade of light rose I thought it would be pretty to heat emboss some hearts on top using a pewter colored embossing powder. .

For my coffee cup, I used a stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I did some simple Copic coloring with gray, as I was keeping the cup white and trimming it out.  I stamped a little dollop of whipped cream in light gray and colored it in with a Versamark pen.  This allowed me to heat white embossing powder over the top for a shiny look like real whipped cream.

I stamped the little scarf from the set on to some patterned paper and trimmed it out to go on the coffee cup.

I assembled all my pieces on to the front of the rose panel along with a sentiment and placed it on to a notecard made from Classic Crest Pewter Gray 80# cardstock.

I love the soft look of the gray and rose together.

Be sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop to see all the Royal Sundance cardstock on sale this month.  Thanks for joining me today!
