Mason Jar Cards

Hello Crafty Friends! Guest designer Angelica here, and I have a pair of mason jar cards to share today. Mason Card Jar? Yes! And they’re amazing!

The card die-set is made by Honeybee Stamps. I combined their dies with papers chosen from CutCardStock.com to make these fabulous cards. Let me share my process:

As much as I love my inks and paints, tonight I stayed faithful to my craft room bff, The Big Shot. I used Honeybee Stamps Mason Card Jar Honey Cuts to make these cards.

My first step was die-cutting. And there was a lot of that. I cut the card frame out using Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110 lb card stock. I then sent pattern paper through my machine with the same dies to cut out pattern paper (from Citrus Bliss Pink Paislee 6x6 paper pad)  for the jar fronts. I then die cut out all card accessories in coordinating patterns and colors.( My Favorite Things Hello and Daisy Die; Pretty Pink Posh Bow die) I added shimmer with Wink Of Stella Clear pen, and shine with Tonic Crystal glaze to the bow and to Hello. I let them dry overnight.

Next I added shading with Distress Oxide ink and Copic Markers.

My final step was adhering everything together. My favorite adhesive to use is Scor Tape. Sometimes though I need wiggle room. I put a wet adhesive on top of the tape so I can move the paper around to get a perfect fit.

I used a white gel pen to add accents to the flowers, and Darice 3D Adhesive foam to attach them to the cards.

I am so in love with how these jar cards turned out, and am excited to start making holiday cards with these dies! Thanks for stopping by!
