Floral Envelope Liners

I love the look of envelope liners but never took them on because I assumed they were a lot of work - I try to aim for efficiency when putting together wedding invites.  I found a pack of envelope liner templates on sale for Cyber Monday and vowed to use them before the end of the year.

Here we are, December 31st, and I'm putting my impulse buy to good use.

As it turns out, envelope liners are super simple. And have a huge impact on the overall look of your card or invite.  I designed this invitation suite with a floral watercolor pattern and decided to carry it over to the liner, but with the colors a little subdued so it wasn't overpowering.

I had the invite, RSVP card, and details card printed by CutCardStock and their fantastic team on Classic Crest 130LB Bright White Card Stock.  I also had them print the pattern for the envelope liners on Cougar White 80LB Paper.

I used my envelope liner templates,  but the pattern is so simple that you could easily make them at home either by hand or on your die cut machine.

I traced the liner on the back of the printed paper and cut it out with scissors.

I lined up the envelope and held it in place with clips. Then I flipped it over and folded the envelope back and used double-sided tape to attach the liner.

That's it.

Like I said, super easy.
