Poinsettia Cards

Hi friends, Angelica here and I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you all using card stock and die.

For these cards, I used Red Wagon and Granny Smith Discount Card Stock, and My Favorite Things Poinsettia Die set. I used two sheets of Red Wagon to die cut 5 flowers, and one sheet of Granny Smith for leaves.

I rummaged through my bin of paper scraps and found a butter-yellow cardstock to die cut the middle poinsettias. After everything was die cut, I used Distress Inks and finger daubers to add shading to the card stock.

Once that was finished, I turned the papers over and sprayed water on the back to loosen the fibers up. I then used a large stylus and rubbed the petals and leaves into a piece of foam. This made the paper curl a little bit.

To assemble the card, I cut panels of Neenah 80lb Desert Storm paper. I used My Favorite Things Christmas background stamp and Lawn Fawn Pizza crust ink to stamp the panels. I trimmed them down and added them to fun-foam for dimension.

To assemble the card, I glued the flowers to the panels and added the panels to A2 size Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card bases. I stamped the small sentiments onto the same Neenah paper, then used foam adhesive to adhere them to the cards.

I always love to die cut cards. I put them together assembly-style, so I get a set of cards in a short amount of time.

That’s all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
