So today I am giddy with joy to bring to you some work from a young lady who I admire in this industry. Danielle Flanders is AMAZING and so creative in everything she does. Check out this Adorable Bunny Card and how she did it.
Spring Bunny card:
Try using your cardstock to create your own shaped cards! Here I used 4 cardstocks from the Pop Tones and Basis line, a lavender, light blue, light pink and white. I drew and cut out the shape for the ears and the head separately from white cardstock and embossed them with polka dots using my Cuttlebug. If you don't draw, try using a pattern from the Internet or a coloring book! Next, I added a bit of plaid paper for the inside of the ears and then covered it with a bit of clear glitter. I added stitches with embroidery floss for the eyes and mouth, cut a cardstock nose and added curly wire for the whiskers. The bottom piece is a stitch stamp that I stamped onto the blue cardstock and cut out. Lastly, I stamped "spring" onto the blue cardstock and cut it out, attached it to the ear and added a fun button. After the bunny was finished, I placed it onto a piece of folded lavender cardstock for the card base and cut around it. Make sure to leave a fold on the left side!

Danielle also made this Sweet Baby Card and here is what she said:
I used the card with 4 flaps on it (Brownbag A7 Petal Card) and covered two of the flaps with the Jelly Bean green Pop Tones cardstock. Before I adhered them down, I punched circles (large and small) from the lighter Gum Drop green cardstock and attached them randomly. Then I stitched an X on a few of the circles for a fun detail. After finishing those two flaps, I wrapped a ribbon around the card and adhered it to the bottom flap and tied it in a bow. I added some chipboard letters to the front and a rub on saying. This would be perfect with a gift card tucked inside for a nice baby gift!

Here is an Gorgeous Winter layout. "Winter Bliss" and Danielle says:
I used 4 different colors of cardstock on this layout from the Basis and Pop Tones line and did some different techniques to them including: stamping with Versamark ink, painting, tearing, stitching, cutting some for a border, covered chipboard snowflake and embossed it, and cut my title from it! (I don't have a cutting machine, so I printed it out from the computer and traced it onto my cardstock.)

So much Creativity !
Look at this Stunning Surprise Card and how Danielle put it together:
This card was made using a Pop Tones Invitation in Hot Fudge. It is a "gate fold" card which means the 2 flaps meet together in the middle and it comes this way. All I did was cover one side with the green polka dot patterned paper and the other with 1/2 of the blue polkadot paper. I added a small strip of red cardstock to the top of the blue for a little punch of color, then some letter stickers, chipboard pieces and rub ons for my sentiment. I punched holes in the top of the card to tie it closed with twine to make it "extra secret". SHHH!

Beautiful Danielle...Thank so much for creating such colorful and bright projects for us !

Also keep in mind I am always looking for Design Artist to show off what can be done with our products. The best way to be noticed is by leaving comments here on the blog since I tend to visit those sites even you don't know I'm there. (wink wink)
Have A Blessed Day !

  6. I am a fairly new visitor to your blog. I found it recently when I was doing some blog hopping and haven't had a chance to shop at your store. I did check out your store's website and it looked great!!! I do have one suggestion for your blog though. It was difficult for me to find a link to your store from your blog. Finally I found the link saying to return the store. It might be a good idea to make the link more noticable (maybe with your logo) and put it at the top of the blog.

  12. Thanks for giving your bloggers an opportunity to provide feedback! The one thing that I find confusing about cardstock is the different weights of the paper. I see that you have sampler packages which is a great idea to see the colors and weights of the cs. The cards created by Dani are wonderful!

  26. Dani great job on the cards - very beautiful as always. Ref your blog and store. On the blog very nice except had a hard time finding the store link. On the store easy to navigate but I thinks it needs some description on the difference in cardstock weights & maybe some a gallery of ideas with layouts and cards. As a scrapbooker I also love to see scrap pages as examples. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.

  28. Great projects! I'm a scrapbooker and have never been to your store until today. I'm sure you are wanting suggestions since you asked, but I only really have one to make. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but if you are trying to sell more to papercrafters, I might make the design a bit different. Maybe more colorful or whimsy or something. It's nice and clean, and there's nothing wrong with that, but maybe a more fun design.

  33. Dani is a wonderful designer-these cards are beautiful.

I'd love to be a guest designer, I've been a scrapper/carder for a while now, but never seem to show off my work.

If I were picking people to showcase your products--Michelle Wooderson and Dawn McVey--love their style and the projects they make!
