Welcome Package with DIY Water Bottle Covers

I recently put together a little welcome package for some friends who were visiting Seattle. I knew I was going to include some bottled water for them since it's been so hot here lately and decided I'd make some of the bottles Seattle themed.

Using Neenah cream cardstock from CutCardstock.com, I cut out our iconic Space Needle using a steel die I have. I replaced the labels on the bottles with scrapbook paper, adhered the Space Needle dies with glue dots and finished off with some baker's twine.

The Neenah cardstock is wonderful for die cutting because it holds its shape and allows for crisp edges and cutouts.

I also made a card for the welcome package. I used more of the Neenah cream cardstock because it's great for stamping.

I made the card 5.5 x 5.5 from Neenah, and covered with scrapbook papers. I used a Seattle themed stamp with brown chalk ink for my card focal, along with another Space Needle die cut. I am in love with how crisp the images come out on the Neenah cardstock.

The rest of the welcome package consisted of lots of tourist brochures, maps, local event material as well as homemade chocolate chip cookies , some locally made chocolates, and a reusable shopping bag to hold it all. An easy way to welcome some friends!
