Hi guys!  Jamie back with you today and I am really excited to share my newest project with you!  By now you all know how much I love all of my CutCardStock.com card stocks, right!? The quality is amazing and they really bring so much interest to my projects...and today, they bring my paper die cut flowers to life!

I am using the 65# Stardream Metallic GOLD Card Stock Cardstock along with 111# Curious Metallic CHOCOLATE 12x12 Cardstock and my digital die cutting machine to created these gorgeous Sunflowers!  Thirty of them to be exact!

The metallic paper really makes these flowers glimmer in the light and look at the detail in the petal cuts...the paper just works beautifully with my Silhouette!

This entire project is created with card stock
with a touch of pattern paper, ribbon, twine, and rocks!

Here's what you will need to get started:

Skewer (or pencil)
Ribbon and Twine (optional)
Rocks (optional)

Here is the tutorial for the flowers:
1.  Use a skewer (or pencil) to roll the centers.  Each flower will have three petal pieces.
2.  Adhere the center of the flower in the smallest flower shape.  Bend the flower up.
3.  Adhere this into the center of the next sized flower then bend that flower up.
5.  Adhere this into the final flower shape and bend up the flower slightly.
6.  Continue until you have 30 flowers built.

All the Curious Metallic Card Stocks are on Sale During March 2014!
