Holiday Countdown Series - Day 6

We're almost half way through our series, and this weekend we have a couple of bonus projects for you. I'm so excited to share one of my favorite holiday projects with you today. I love giving food gifts during this special season, so today I'm sharing a few ways to creatively add a special touch to tags, bags and wraps!

For the loaf of bread, I added a large doilie, patterned wax paper wrap, ribbon and a snowflake embellished tag. A little bit of Wink of Stella brushed on the top stamped layer of the snowflake gives it a special shine!

For the tag, I started with a Kraft tag, stamped at the bottom with my greeting. (I stamped it twice, a little offset to give it a shadow look.) I colored my house image with Copic markers, added some Wink of Stella and topped the windows with Glossy Accents to give it a warm glow. I think this makes a great tag for something homemade, like jam or pickles!

Finally, for my bag, I added a tag that closes over the fold. I stamped with white pigment ink on Basis Black cardstock and topped a piece of patterned paper. It's punched and threaded with ribbon to keep the bag closed. What a cute way to share homemade candies or cookies - or even a gift card.
