Nature Themed Petal Card

Hello again, friends!  It's Mynn, and I'm back with a fun, bold, and bright summertime card that uses Basis Petal cards and Stardream Metallics.  Here's how I created it...

After gathering my papers, I dry embossed some birds on the top of the Aquamarine Stardream Metallic card panel.  I had decided on a nature theme, so the birds in the sky seemed very appropriate.

I then free hand cut some "grass" from a piece of Fairway Stardream Metallic card.  I adhered it to the Aquamarine Stardream Metallic panel.

I then punched some flowers and centers from Azalea and Fine Gold Stardream Metallic card.  I layered them together to form fun summery flowers.

I added the flowers to the panel, and the panel to a Teal Basis Petal Card base.  These petal cards are SUPER fun--they fold closed in the back and are just perfect for invitations or any special card!

I then decided I needed to add a sentiment, so I stamped one onto Sweet Tooth Pop Tones card, then matted the sentiment panel with Black Licorice Pop Tones card.

To finish the project, I added some satin ribbon to tie the back up prettily.  I think this turned out so beautifully!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your opinion in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends!  I'll be back again with more creations using products from the CutCardStock online store!  Thanks for stopping by, and, until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
