Hi again all,
Since my specialty has always been mini albums rather than cards I decided to use the envelopes to create a small album of some of my flowers in my yard-I used some pictures from last year since my peonies and roses aren't quite in bloom yet.
I glued all the envelopes together to form the basic pages of the album with 3 solid pages and 2 pocket pages. I then added 2 pieces of chipboard to form the front and back covers. I did add a few pieces of white cardstock since I wanted to keep a little bit of the kraft color showing.
I stamped a white piece of cardstock with Versamark clear embossing ink and used white embossing powder, then I used a watercolor brush and my watercolors to paint in the flowers-I wish I would have had a larger peony stamp but I really like the way it turned out. I added a label and s sticker that I have had for years (not sure if it is even made anymore but any brand of letter sticker would work) you could probably even cut one out to vinyl.
I just added a photo and label and some small letter stickers to create this page.
You can see the pocket in this page-I had some great kraft stickers and gold washi tape that worked great for this page-this was also the first time my white peonies actually bloomed.
This page is also a photo with some polka dot washi tape added as a border with a small label and some letter stickers with the year.
There are several more pages but they are mainly just journaling.
I hope hope you enjoyed this little album, please let me know if you have any comments or questions.
