Fall Wedding Thank You Note

Hello and welcome to the CutCardStock Blog! It's Gloria with you today with a DIY Bride project. I think personalized and handmade thank you notes are the BEST kind. Here is a simple one for the fall bride!

You can customize this neutral card with your wedding colors and have a wonderful keepsake thank you note to give to your guests.

Start by cutting Brown Bag Kraft cardstock to 6" x 9 1/2" and score at 4 3/4" on the long side. This will make at 6" x 4 3/5" side-fold card. Print or stamp your sentiment onto Classic Linen Classic Natural White cardstock. Use a stitched rectangle die cut template to cut out the sentiment panel. If you need to save time, you can trim the panel to 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" and omit the stitching around the edge.

Wrap the top of the ivory panel with a 2 1/2" wide piece of canvas ribbon, topped with some vintage lace trim. wrap some burlap twine around the panel several times and secure at the back. Use foam adhesive to attach the ivory panel to the card front.

Use leaf die cut templates to cut leaves and an acorn from Flavours Gourmet cardstock. Add the die cut shapes to the card front as shown. Tie a loopy bow from burlap twine and glue to the top of the stacked leaves. Add a wood button to the top of the bow.

Add two Classic Linen Classic Natural White cardstock panels to the inside of the card. Cut each panel to 5 3/4" x 4 1/2". (You could use the same stitched die cut shape for the inside panels.) Attach a photo, matted with Flavours Gourmet cardstock to the left panel. Use the right panel to write a thank you message.
