Love is the Key

Hello all. Today I bring you a love card I made using some old crafting stuff, mixed with some new to me stuff. So we shall learn together!

First I selected my colors from CutCardStock. I used Astrobrights Terra Green, Astrobrights Outrageous Orchid, and Classic Crest Solar White for this card.
I designed the card base in Silhouette Studio~Designers Edition. The frame and flower are from Silhouette's Design Store. And I cut all elements with the Silhouette Cameo 3.
Next I ran the top white layer through my Sizzix Bigshot with a hearts Darice folder.

Now here is where my Christmas present came into learning. I received an embossing powder kit (Powder and pens by Ranger Ink, heat is a Darice Heat Tool).
This is my first run at the powder.

I decided to try it out on a stamp. I used some chalk ink just cause I haven't had time to run down and get some better ink. It worked okay.

The subtle change of color on the cardstock is courtesy of using the Craftwell eBrush and a pink with two green Sharpie markers.
I've had a pack of keys on my board for two years, finally decided to design a card around one!
