Daisies are flowers that always seem to bring good cheer and a smile. Their uniform shape and bright yellow centers have a "happy" vibe about them that I love.
For today's project, I thought it would be fun to try using a daisy shaped die cut with some silvery card stock to create a shimmery congratulations card. I used Currency Cover Silver Card Stock which is on sale this month over at the CutCardstock shop.
To adhere my daisies, I used some Stick It adhesive tape which is very helpful when you're trying to adhere intricate die cuts.
I wanted the daisies to act as a background, so I cut out four of them from the silver card stock backed with the Stick It adhesive. I arranged them on the front of a white note card with some of the edges hanging off to create interest. The note card was made using Cougar White Super Smooth 100 lb. card stock. I trimmed one daisy in half to fill in the areas I needed.
After arranging the flowers, I trimmed off the excess with some non stick scissors.
I added a scalloped frame cut from Pop Tone Banana Split card stock and placed my sentiment on top using some more Cougar White Super Smooth. Some enamel dots finished the card.
