Fall Floral Wreath

Living in Houston, TX, I don't really get four seasons anymore, but I like to pretend it's fall and ignore the fact that it's still 90 degrees outside.  To help support my delusion I wanted to create some fall decor.

I went with a wreath to hang on the inside of our front door and took advantage of a handful of paper flower templates and tutorials I had saved to my Pinterest board.

I started off with a wreath I found on clearance that as a little oblong. I also grabbed some artificial, leafy flowers to add in around the paper flowers.

I took advantage of CutCardStock's sale on orange and stocked up with the 'Beautiful Harvest' pack and Pop-Tone Orange Fizz.  I also used Basis Gold, Basis Navy, Stardream Metallic Antique Gold, Stardream Metallic Ruby, Curious Metallic Ink and Basis Natural.

I created various types of flowers and used a couple different tutorials for them and used my Cricut to cut them all out.

Peonies (Ruby paper)
Small Roses (Navy and Ivory)
Mums (Navy)
Anemone (Gold and Orange)
Small Rolled Flowers (Gold) were a free Cricut image

Once I had the flowers made I simply attached them to the wreath using the floral wire. After I attached all the flowers I added in some of the artificial flowers to fill it out and added a ribbon loop to hang it.
