Modern Welcome Card

I love modern black and white lines with a pop of color and I'm so digging this welcome to the neighborhood card.

This card features DCS Granny Apple cardstock and Curious Metallic Cryogen white for a bit of sparkle.

When I got this Diamond Design Background stamp from The Stamp Market, I went crazy and stamped a bunch of these black and white panels. So I figured, I could whip up a quick card with this panel plus a Cougar Folded Card and a couple die cuts.

Too right, this came together in a snap. I started by die cutting a piece of DCS Granny Smith cardstock with Altenew Potted Plants Stamp & Die Bundle. I then stamped the leaves with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Altenew Iridescent Embossing Powder to add a bit of sparkle and shine.

I die cut a piece of Curious Metallic Cryogen White with one of the plant pot dies.

I chose a thick bold sentiment stamp in order to cover the black lines. The HELLO is from The Stamp Market Double Take Stamp Set. The potted plant seemed so friendly, like something you might give as a housewarming gift, so I chose a welcome stamp from Concord & 9th Pineapple Perfection.

I heat embossed both sentiments with Altenew Iridescent Embossing Powder for some sparkle to match the Cryogen White cardstock. Finally, I popped up Welcome, the leaves, and the plant pot and called the card done.

So friendly! I just love that yummy green, black and white! I hope you enjoyed this card today and feel inspired to create.
