Corner Book Mark Tutorial

Today we are featuring some work done by Laura Estle from Lafayette, Colorado. She made these cute Spring theme cards using our Brown Bag KRAFT A-7 Folded Cards as the base of the card. She then decorated the cards using our Basis 80# CardStock. Laura sells many of her creations in her etsy store QUEEN BEE INSPIRATIONS.

Here is what Laura writes about herself: " I have been creating something
all my life. Using my creativity keeps my sanity! ~*´¨)¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨)

I'm a busy mom of three and have my own professional organization business called DESTINATION: Organization, LLC.

My other passion is volunteering as Co-chair of our city’s Waste Reduction Advisory Committee. Our committee provides waste-free events and continues to educate the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. One of our current goals is to increase awareness to reducing the number of plastic bags people use. We hope people will go beyond bringing your own bag for groceries but also bringing them to every store or marketplace
."

Laura created these unique Corner Book markers that would make a nice gift for any reader. Below you will find the instructions:

Corner Bookmark Directions

Supplies used:
CutCardStock.com cardstock, paper trimmer, adhesive, bone folder, ruler, clear stamps, ink pad. Optional: corner rounder, paper punch, Pop-dots
,

Cut a #80 brown card stock into a 2”x6” strip.
Find center and fold paper at right angles at center. Fold other side to meet first fold .

Cut a 2.5” square of aqua card stock and then cut square into 2 triangles.

Finish your bookmark by putting one triangle of aqua on back of bookmark and the other triangle onto the front. Cut a strip of white card stock at 1” by 4.5”. Place this onto front bottom to cover the bottom of bookmark.

Now your bookmark is ready to embellish with stamping and enjoy!

Once Again, A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Laura from QUEEN BEE INSPIRATIONS! for sharing with us her ideas!
