Our Design Team

Niki
Hi, y’all! I’m Niki and I live in San Antonio, TX. I moved here in 2008, married my husband in 2010 and I have two stepkiddos - one is a sailor in the U.S. Navy and the other is a budding musician... we think! I’ve been making pretty things as long as I can remember; as a child, I used to spend my money at the tiny craft store next to my grandmother’s house in outport Newfoundland, Canada. I graduated from pompoms and popsicle sticks to a love of all things paper. I started with scrapbooking, but that quickly morphed into quilling, and then to handmade greeting cards. When I’m not crafting, you can find me relaxing in the backyard, searching online for craft inspiration, or taking an interesting online course.

Heidi
My name is Heidi and my love of paper crafting began over 10 years ago creating scrapbooks for birthdays and fun events.  Then, one day, I picked up a cardmaking magazine and fell in love with all the creative options stamps and dies had to offer.  I find inspiration for my cards in all kinds of interesting places.

Hi, I'm Crystal Schneider I live in Missouri with my husband and two girls. I started crafting as far back as I can remember and have tried almost every craft I can think of. I enjoy taking a little time every day to work on something crafty. If I'm not in my craft room you can find me spending time with my family or volunteering. I love all paper crafts. Currently, I'm really into card making. I'm very excited to be continuing on for another year on the CutCardStock Design Team and I'm looking forward to sharing my projects with everyone.

Annie
Hi, I’m Annie Williams and I live in Pennsylvania with my husband of 13 years, a 3-year-old boy full of crazy energy, a little girl we recently welcomed into our lives, and two cats.  I am a scientist by training, but I have always been interested in art and art history as well.  Although I have been crafting for most of my life, I only just started my blog a few years ago and have enjoyed sharing a mix of home decor, handmade card, and gift ideas ever since. I'd characterize my style as simple and traditional, but I love to experiment with new types of media and various coloring techniques. My projects often reflect my other interests which include outdoorsy things like hiking, biking, and canoeing as well as a love of travel, small towns, and nature photography.  I am thrilled to be a part of the CutCardStock Design Team again and can't wait to see what all of these talented ladies come up with this year!

Amber Rain
Hello, I’m Amber Rain Davis. I live in Southern California with my husband, our 3 girls, and our adorable Swedish Vallhund. I’ve been artsy since I was little and was drawn to each hobby by way of color. Pretty crayons, pencils, fabric, beads, paper, you get the idea. I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) in 2017 and strangely that’s what got me into card making. I’ve been making cards for about 2.5 years and really fell in love with it during my journey to become an Altenew Educator. I’ve learned so much from the papercraft community and am so inspired by all the artists. I love to create, share, and teach and hope to inspire others to create pretty things.

Samantha
Hi! My name is Samantha and I've been making things ever since I could hold a crayon. Art is such an intrinsic part of my identity that I cannot imagine my life with no creative outlet. I come from a family of incredibly talented crafters and artisans. I like to think that in a small way my ancestors live on through my own artistic expression. I enjoy a number of different crafts but paper crafting, in general, holds a special place in my heart. I got my start with scrapbooking. That lead to mini albums, then miscellaneous paper crafts, and most recently to cardmaking. When I'm not creating (or working haha!) I also enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, going on walks, doing automotive repairs, and learning new things.
