Happy Valentine's Day from Amber Lawrence
Supplies:
- A2 Folded Cards, Neenah Epic Black with matching A2 envelope
- Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock, cut to 4” x 5 ¼”
- Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock, cut to ½” wide
- Curious Metallic Shadow cardstock, piece large enough for “label” die cut shape
- Curious Metallic Red Lacquer cardstock, piece large enough for “heart” die cut shape
- “Happy Valentine’s Day” stamp, French script background stamp and Polka Dot background stamp
- Spellbinders “Labels Four” (measures 3 ¾” x 2 ½”) & “Classic Hearts”(measures 2” x 2 ¼”) dies
- Pearl Stickers, the ones I used are by Recollections
- Black ink, Red ink and a watermark ink (Versamark)
- Adhesive and Pop Dots
- Sponge for inking
Steps:
- Stamp French script background with black ink on Cryogen White cardstock. Stamp Polka Dot background with red ink over the top of the stamped French script. Ink edges using sponge and black ink.
- Using spellbinders dies and die cut machine of your choice, cut the label from Shadow cardstock and the heart from Red Lacquer.
- Stamp the Polka Dot background stamp on the Shadow label die cut.
- Stamp the Valentine’s sentiment on the ½” wide strip of Cryogen white. If you would like, cut a banner end on the strip. Ink the edges with the sponge and black ink.
- Adhere the stamped background to the card base. Attach the Shadow label die cut, hanging it just off the edge. Trim the excess.
- Glue down the Valentine’s banner and then add the Red Lacquer heart using pop dots.
- Add a few red pearl for a little extra bling!
I love the stamped paper...I thought it was patterned. Great tutorial!
