Decorating a Brown Gift Bag

Hi CutCardStock fans!   I am so excited to be working on Christmas projects this month and using CutCardStock supplies makes it so easy!  I've recently discovered the fun in decorating plain old gift bags.  Earlier in the year I shared with you a gift bag topper and today I am going to share a decorated brown bag.
Now, this might look complicated but I promise it isn't!  Here's the play by play!
-Punch 8 red circles and 4 green circles
-Put a glue dot at the top of each circle
-Create a row of red circles at the bottom of the bag (I started in the approximate center and worked out from there)
-Create a row of green circles above it - overlapping and staggering them as to create a ruffled look.
-Do one more row of red ones.
-Add faux stitching to each to add some pop.
-Attach the burlap border and then top it with a chipboard border.  A thick border like chipboard is necessary here to cover up the top of your circles and the bottom of the burlap.
-Add a sentiment.
-Cut out a banner from the red cardstock and fold it over the top of the burlap border.
-Add a flair button and clothespin to finish the whole thing off.

Enjoy all the Christmas inspiration and we look forward to seeing what you make with CutCardStock this holiday season!
