Teacher Note Cards

Hello Everyone!

This is my final posting for CutCardStock; I have enjoyed sharing projects with you and want to thank the CutCardStock folks for having me.  It has been a pleasure to work with such wonderful people and such quality products.
Today I am back with another set of 3 x 3 notecards.  I wanted to come up with cards that were very quick and easy to reproduce but with a big 'Wow' factor, as I would like to make these for several teachers at school.  I went with the traditional 'apple' theme; I found myself wondering if  teachers get tired of the 'apple' theme; I sure hope not!  :)

To make these cards, I started with a base 3 x 3 card made from Esse cardstock for a beautiful pearlized sparkle.  The apple is cut from Red Hot from the Pop Tones Sample Pack.  I die cut a heart shape out of the apple and backed it with vellum.
The leaves are made with some of my favorite dies, MFT's Layered Leaves.  The solid leaf is cut from a piece of Gum Drop Green cardstock from the Pop Tones Sample Pack.  The outline leaf is die cut from a piece of Curious Metallic Botanic from the Curious Metallic Sample Pack.  The glittery, luminescent sheen compliments the sheen of the Esse cardstock beautifully.
Now how simple is that?!  These are cards that will be easy to reproduce and will make sweet sets of three.
The best part is you can get 3 1/8" square envelopes right here at CutCardStock.

Thanks again to CutCardStock and thanks to all of you blog readers!  I hope to see you around and would love for you to visit me.
