I carefully trimmed around the edges of each frame and my pictures were ready to go.
Next I laid out the base of my layout. I started with a sheet of Fairway from Stardream Metallic. I cut down a piece of Lime from Curious Metallic and attached it to the top.
The Translucent Paper I embossed with an embossing folder and added color to the raised embossing with two different green ink pads. I love the shading effect created by adding both colors to the embossed leaves.
I decided to include some hidden journaling on my layout and knew the A7 card base in Kraft would work perfectly. I folded along the score line of the card and attached it to the right side.
I placed the pictures and labels to the card top and then began with all the fun finishing touches: strips of pattern paper, tags, and a few enamel dots. I placed a piece of Mandarin card stock from Curious Metallics on the top left corner and tucked in a few more labels and enamel dots.
Using my Silhouette Cameo I cut the title from Translucent Paper and placed this over the photos. I love the subtle look and extra layer it adds.
Once all the finishing touches had been placed I printed up my journaling and placed it inside the card base.
I hope where ever you are that Spring has come your way and you get some time to document the season - whether that includes budding flowers or falling snow. :)
Happy Crafting, Nicole
