Hello, Summer!

Hi, all!  Mynn here with a fun, summery card using Pop Tones cardstock!  The three main colors I've used for this card are Sweet Tooth, Wild Cherry, and Blue Raspberry, but I've also used Sour Apple and Black Licorice for accents.

I dry embossed the Blue Raspberry card using a fun star pattern embossing folder.  I always feel like patriotic themes and colors go along with summer, so that is where my mind went! :)

I then sponged over the embossed Blue Raspberry panel lightly with white kraft ink.  I used my finger to create a smoother finish. I just wanted the panel to look a little distressed, and I LOVE the way it ended up!

The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto Sweet Tooth cardstock.  I chose a very simple sentiment so that this card could be used for a variety of occasions.

The Black Licorice cardstock was punched into a border to accent the sentiment.  I really love the fun scallops this punch creates!  You can leave the holes open, or, as I chose, fill over them for a simple large scallop.

I then punched some shapes from the Wild Cherry and Blue Raspberry cardstocks, and made them into flowers.  I added glitter enamel dots to the centers for some shine, too.

I added a bit of Sour Apple cardstock for the stem and leaves of the flower I created.  I love the bold and bright feel of these fun Pop Tones cardstocks!

That's all for me today, friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I'll be back again soon with another creation using products from the CutCardStock online store!  Until then, HUGS and happy crafting, friends! :)
