Fanciful Fairy Wands

Hello, friends!  I'm excited to be sharing a tutorial today using some beautiful glitter papers from the CutCardStock online store.  These would be PERFECT to give out for a little girl's birthday party, a fun craft to make together on a rainy day, or for any other occasion that needs a little sparkle!

The first step is to take some glitter papers and punch or die cut your shapes.  Make sure your shapes layer together nicely.  These fun wands were made using three colors of glitter paper--CaramelJade, and Rouge.

Next, take your shapes and adhere them together.  I used 3D Foam Tab Adhesive to give a bit more dimension to these wands.

Take another one of your largest shapes and adhere a straw to the back of it.  I used some Tombow runner adhesive to add the straw, then some mounting tape to hold it all together.  This works best if you smash the top of your straw so it lays flat.

After you add your layered piece to the wand, you can add any sort of embellishments you would like.  I kept it pretty simple with some fun rhinestone flowers and a satin polka dotted bow.

These can be put into treat bags or added to the party table in a fun arrangement.  I had lots of fun making these fun fairy wands, and I hope you like them, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I invite you to visit the CutCardStock store to purchase the beautiful products needed to make these fun fairy wands.  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)
