Glitter Paper Love Photo Album

Hello there and welcome to a New Year!  It's Melanie here getting you ready for the romantic Valentine's season with a Love Photo Album featuring Chevron Glitter Paper.  I'm including a link to my diecut design in Cricut Design Space below so you can make it now!  There are a lot of moving parts with this project but it took me less than 2 hours to cut and assemble.  Check it out!

The album includes front and back pages with 8 page inserts making a total of 16 photo pages.  Each page includes a love quote, inspired by Bob Marley love songs!  I used my Cricut Explore writing tool to write each quote with a black fine tip pen.  I used a dark red and bright white card stock for the accent colors but this would also make a unique wedding gift in the bride and groom's wedding colors or classic Silver and White colors.  CutCardStock.com glitter paper is amazing!  It does not leave glitter everywhere when handling, unlike other competitor's glitter paper.

Gather your supplies to get started.  The front and back layers consist of chipboard (0.22 thickness), Dark Red card stock and Chevron Glitter Paper (Pow Silver).  The page inserts are Classic Crest card stock (Bright White).

The album measures 6.8 x 6.4 inches so 4 x 6 photos will fit either vertical or horizontal on each page.  I adhered 4 x 6 plastic photo protectors (found at craft or office supply stores) on each page but adhering a photo directly to each page works as well.

Start adhering the cuts for the front of the album. If you are inserting a picture into the front heart, be sure to cut your picture image using the red insert as a guide.  Apply glue to the sides (only) of the red insert and attach to the back of the glitter paper.  You should have a pocket at the top to insert your photo. Adhere the red card stock to the chipboard and adhere to the back of the glitter paper (leaving the heart picture frame insert open).  Add the other remaining diecuts.

Adhere the cuts for the back of the album.

Assemble the page inserts and add desired cuts/designs.  I tied Satin Ribbon (silver) through each hole to hold the album together.

Insert your favorite photos and enjoy!

Keep checking back for more Love-themed projects this month and be sure to pick up some Glitter Paper in your favorite colors!
