Home Decor - Photo Album / Centerpiece ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share how you can turn a Photo Album into Home Decor by turning it into a Centerpiece for your table.

I love checking out YouTube video's for inspiration, and today's project was inspired by an Envelope Mini-Book. The following photo's contain the instruction I created, based on the video, to create my Photo Album / Centerpiece.

Envelope Mini-Book

I loved creating today's project, and think it would be cool to make one for each of the Seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) so you can display some of your favorite photo's through out the year. Adding the magnets to the album makes it close for easy storage.

I hope you enjoyed today's tutorial, and that you give this technique a try!

All of the items listed above, except for the Design Paper I used, can be found at CutCardStock, and make sure you check out the Classic Crest and Classic Linen Cardstock which is currently on Sale.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

  2. Hi Lois,
I'm sorry that my instructions were not clear to you. You need to watch the video in the link provided ... Envelope Mini-Book. My picture show that I did the basic steps as shown in the video. I then add the magnets, as shown in the 6th picture. Once that is done, I then decorated the pages with design paper. Since I used 5-envelopes, there are 5 openings. I used 3 of the invitations, decorated them, and inserted them in the envelope. The other 2 openings I used 1/2 of the invitation, decorated it, added a pull-out tab, and inserted them into the openings.
The album stays open because of the magnets I added in the 6th picture.

Please let me know if further clarification is needed.
    Crafty Hugs,
    Ruza

  5. Thank you for responding to Lois' post about how you used the invitation folders to make the long extending pieces for your stunning album. You sneaked that little detail in the supply list but didn't mention it in the text or video. Your album is simply stunning. I'm looking forward to making my own version.
