Home Sweet Home Wreath

Hello Cardstock fans!  It's Lisa here today to share a paper wreath I've created with my Cricut machine and of course some amazing CutCardStock.com papers!  Below you will find a tutorial on how to re-create this wreath for your home!

I started by selecting my colors and cutting thin oval shapes on my Cricut® Explore with the Basic George Cartridge.

To create the leaf look I folded them down the center and trimmed each end to a point.

I then cut out a large circle on a piece of scrap cardboard and a smaller one on the inside to create my wreath base.  I was then able to glue my "leaves" in a staggering pattern around the front of the wreath.

Once I had fit as many as I could onto the front of the wreath, I then began to go back in with fillers (ie:feathers and beads)...

I wanted to add a cute little house and sentiment to my wreath, so I stamped the house onto the Classic Crest Recycled white cardstock, colored the house and trimmed it out.  The sentiment was stamped onto matching cardstock from the Poptone Collection.

And there you have it!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
Lisa
