Do you have that one friend who would love a personalized handmade card from you? If you do or even if you don't-here's an idea for a happy little card.
Since I injured my right arm and the tendon in my elbow I was trying to think of a project I could do since my Ortho doctor said I should really rest it and not do anything that caused any strain I decided to try something a little different and actually use some of tools I own instead of letting them just collect dust. I wanted to create a simple card and I had this wood grain embossing folder that I have only used a handful of times-can I say that these card blanks emboss beautifully?!
I did a close up so you can see the detail.
I cut several sizes of little banner shapes in varying widths and adhered them to the cardfront and then I added a piece of this unique textured paper that I have been hoarding for years. I used the scor-tape since it works really well on textured surfaces or handmade type papers. I added the flower diecuts using foam dots under the right flower and then added the best friends stickers (MAMBI).
