Halloween Card with a big bow!

Hi Friends!! kel here today :) Can you believe it's almost Halloween? I went to the mall with my kids the other day (something we rarely do) and there was Halloween stuff EVERYWHERE!! So I'm here to share a super different Halloween card... different for me anyway! I usually stick with the cute and fun but was so inspired by this spiderweb punch I picked up at a crafter clearance sale.

I started with a 5" x 5" piece of cardstock in Pop Tones Black Licorice and then used this new-to-me spiderweb punch around the page.

You start with the corners and then do the middle after that.

Unfortunately for me, I miscut or something because I ended up with this one wonky corner. But luckily it was just one corner of the entire piece that looked bad, so I had the opportunity to cover it up!!

I then stamped all over a 3.75" x 3.75" piece of Pop Tones Sweet Tooth cardstock in black, grey, and pumpkin orange inks to create a subway art-ish background piece. Love how it came out!!

I then figured out where I wanted that wonky corner placed (bottom left corner) and then glued everything down, with my bottom-most layer being a 6" x 6" Pop Tones cardstock piece in Orange Fizz.

The last thing I did was to make a fluffy organza bow with this black organza ribbon. I didn't want to make it SUPER fluffy because I wanted the boy to sit relatively flat on the card.

I added some adhesive cardstock embellishments to cover up the messy center of the bow and then stuck it all down with some extra tacky glue!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stay up to date with the latest news and sales on the CutCardstock Facebook Page!!

lovies, =o) kel
