A little story about my love for French Paper... When I was a wee junior designer in downtown Chicago, I used to attend paper shows, and was always in awe of the French Paper brand. Their products stood out from the rest - quirky designs with a vintage vibe. They had the most unique and fun papers around, and I loved that they were a family-owned "boutique" mill out of Michigan. Unfortunately in my corporate-oriented positions, I never had the opportunity to use their papers.
Fast forward almost 20 years, as I'm planning to open a stationery business, one of my first thoughts was "Pop-Tone". FINALLY, the opportunity to use a French Paper line presented itself! So, as I designed the notecards for Peony Hill Press, I made sure that they coordinated with one of the Pop Tone envelopes I wanted to supply (Bubble Gum, Spearmint, and Lemon Drop).
I have purchased many of the other colors as well, for use on holiday cards, event invitations, announcements, even wedding invitations! I think that a color envelope completes the concept for my designs, plus it stands out from the rest of the mail. Your day will certainly be brightened when one of these arrives in your mailbox!
I hope you are enjoying some spring colors and sunshine wherever you are! Enjoy the rest of your week and have a very happy Easter! XOXO, Erin
