Treat Box With Matching Thank You Card

I love little boxes so perfect for a little treat. So much fun to show someone you care and appreciate them. I used Royal Sundance Felt cardstock in natural for both the box and the card. I wanted to watercolor on them and the cardstock was thick enough and gave the look of watercolor paper that I was looking for.

I stamped my image with VersaFine black ink on the center of the top of the box.

I used Arteza Brush pens to color in the image starting with a darker color and blending with a lighter color to add some shading.

Once the coloring was dry I scored the edges and formed a box. I then added some details to my colored-in image with a White Uniball Signo Gel Pen and black Nuvo Drops.

To make the card I just cut some Royal Sundance Felt cardstock in natural to size and scored it in half. I used a Post-it Note® to mask off half of the cardstock and stamped the image onto the front of the card.

I colored it in and embellished the image the same way I did the box. I also added washi tape to the top of the card and used the same pattern washi tape to seal the box shut.

I kept the sentiment very simple on the card and just die cut "Thank You" out of Stardream Metallic card stock in Amethyst and adhered it to the front of the card.

I punched a hole in the top left corner of the card and used some twine around the box to attach the card.

Thank you for stopping by today I'm off to find a little treat to place in my box and surprise someone with it.
