Let's Celebrate!

When I want to add some extra elegance to my cards, I like to use linen card stock.  There's something about the texture that makes it seem so fancy!  Many times, I use it as a liner for the inside of a card I make with dark card stock, but for today's project I'm keeping it front and center.  I used Classic Linen Solar White 100# card stock from the CutCardstock shop.  It's a nice, bright white that stamps beautifully.

I wanted to keep the design clean and elegant, so I stamped some wine glasses in a row with embossing ink, then heat embossed the images with an iridescent gold powder.

To fill in the glasses, I used a frosty sparkle pen that has a little bit of pink added.

A simple sentiment from Winnie and Walter finishes off the card.  I chose to use a dark gray ink instead of black to keep everything softer looking.

Be sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop for the sale on Linen card stock good through the end of this month.
