Bunny Basket Love

Hello friends! I hope you are having some spring weather in your part of the world! Today I saw my first robin of the season, and that always tells me that spring truly is coming! Pretty soon I will have some bunnies in my yard. And that means yard work soon follows -- yay.....

So, let's talk about quick and easy spring greetings to make and send in between planting and raking! All you need are some of your favorite dies and some pretty pastels!

Today I am using one of my favorite colors in the Curious Metallics line, and it's perfect for Easter and Spring cardmaking: Aloe Pale Green. I rounded up some of my favorite dies and used the Aloe Pale Green for my basket and sentiment word die.

My card base and bunnies are cut from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock, and my eggs are from Basis Pink, Light Yellow, and Light Purple.

I found some cute patterned paper to match, and then arranged my eggs and tall bunny in my basket. I adhered them to the card base using 1/2" wide Scor-Tape. The other two adorable bunnies outside the basket are popped up with Foam Squares.

The basket and sentiment have such a sweet shimmer -- not overwhelming, but just the right amount of sparkle and shine!

I hope that this inspires you to create some quick and easy greetings of your own. Handmade cards don't have to be fancy; the recipients just love receiving something you have made! Be sure to check out our Facebook page for many more Spring projects.
