Festive Easter Menu

Spring is officially my favorite season because it's such a breath of fresh air after a long winter (pun intended ;) My name is Aubrey and I'm so excited to be sharing with you some fun paper projects for this coming year.

Paper is such a great medium to work with because of all the unique and creative things you can do with it. Today I want to show you how to make a festive Easter menu for that special dinner you may be hosting. It only takes about 15 minutes and you'll be sure to wow your guests.

Materials needed:

Curious Metallic Poison Ivory
Premium Smooth Cardstock in Dark Green
Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue
Double sided Foam Adhesive Strips

First, print out your menu on the Curious Metallic cardstock. I love the Poison Ivory color because it has a slight shimmer to it and feels so fancy. Use a die cutter or corner punch to make each layer have rounded edges. I wanted dimension to the menu so I used three layers with slightly larger sizes.

Using your dark green cardstock from the Premium Smooth cardstock line, die cut some palm leaves (I used a Silhouette CAMEO to cut them out.) Look how tiny and detailed the leaves are!

Next add some Tombow Liquid Glue to the palm leaves and glue them together.

Once you've placed the leaves onto the menu where you want, add a little extra glue to hold them in place. Then take a small hole punch and create two holes on both sides where we can tie twine to.

Add some natural twine and tie it around the leaves. I love how small details add so much extra to a project.

Once our top layer is finished, add Double Sided Foam Adhesive Strips to the top two layers and center them onto the largest ivory layer.

Carefully bend the palm leaves and fluff them out to add dimension to the greenery, and we have our completed Easter menu!

I love hosting dinner parties and to me, the tiny details are really what make an event go from blah to WOW! Put a menu at each place setting to complete your Easter dinner decor.

Check out the beautiful Curious Metallic cardstock that's on sale this month and make some fancy menus for your own dinner!

Happy crafting friends!
