A Friendly Hello and Smile Card

Hi crafty friends, Crystal here and I'm excited to share a couple of friendship cards with you today!

I used Stick-It on the back of a piece of Pink Glitter cardstock, then I die cut a butterfly out of the Pink Glitter cardstock and Pop-Tone cardstock in Razzleberry. Next, I used the Razzleberry as the outline of the butterfly and the pink glitter as the inlay pieces.

I die cut two 5 1/2"X 4 1/4" double-stitch rectangles one for each card out of Black cardstock.

I die cut the Glistening Gold Glitter cardstock and the Mirrisparkle Gold Glitter cardstock with a double stitch rectangle die that was one step smaller than the black one.

Then, I die cut two rectangles one step smaller than the glitter rectangles out of Recycled White cardstock.

For this card, I die cut 'Smile' (which I added Stick-It to beforehand) out of Mirrisparkle Gold Glitter cardstock.

I adhered all of the rectangles that I die cut in order, stacking the smaller on top of the larger rectangles. I inlaid the Pink Glitter cardstock into the Pop-Tone cardstock butterfly.

Next, I adhered the 'Smile' die cut sentiment over the butterfly and a thin strip with the sentiment "Sending you all my love!" over the 'Smile'.

I adhered the whole panel to a White A2 card base.

I added a few Nuvo drops and the card was complete.

The second card was almost the same as the first. I had the butterfly die cut from the first card with Stick-It on it and didn't want to throw it out so I adhered it to a piece of Astrobright Pink cardstock and die cut the butterfly.

For the second card, I changed the sentiment to "A Friendly Hello" and die cut it out of a banner. I adhered everything the same as the first card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
