Donut Hole Treat Toppers

We've seen cake and cupcake toppers but what about donut hole toppers?!

YES!! Today on the CutCardStock blog, I am giving donut holes the spotlight!

These perfect bite-size treats will be served at a friend's sister's bridal shower and I thought toppers would be a fun way to add a little party personalization! Besides, toothpicks are the way to go to serve yourself from a party platter.

This easy-as-1-2-3 project was created using the following products:

To create the topper, I used the leaves part of this cute pineapple Silhouette cut file and had my Silhouette CAMEO cut that shape with the glittler evergreen cardstock. Next, with the gold glitter cardstock, I layered the couples' initials on top of the pineapple leaves. Lastly, I added a tiny pink heart that contrasted nicely against the glitter layers.

I also created another topper design to mimic a diamond ring. I slightly modified this diamond Silhouette cut file so that there was enough surface area to glue on a toothpick. Because there is less space, I also trimmed the toothpick using heavy duty scissors.

Similar to the custom photo booth props I made, I squeezed a thin line of Tombow Mono Liquid Glue, placed a toothpick on top, and pushed down for 10 seconds to secure the toothpick to the topper.

That's really it! I told you it was easy as 1-2-3! You have no excuses to not make your own treat toppers!

Do you have a party coming up that needs a little glitz? Try making these treat toppers using glitter cardstock! It's such a simple way to create eye-catching decor for your special event!
