Glittery Mother's Day Cards

Hi crafty friends! Happy Wednesday! We made it halfway through the week.

Today I have two Mother's Day cards to share with you. I was sitting at my desk just playing and thought it would be fun to die cut a bunch of frames out.

To get started, I taped some A2 double stitched dies together making sure the space was even on all four sides. After I taped the dies together, I ran them through my die cutting machine with Glitter Cardstock in PinkSilverGold, and also a piece of Pop-tone in Razzleberry

To make cards, I trimmed two pieces of cardstock down to 5 1/5" X 4 1/4". I just added glue and starting on the outside edge adhered the largest frame and then adhered the next smallest continuing on until the whole piece of cardstock was full.

For the first card, I used a floral stencil and Fushia ink and inked over the whole background that I had put together with the glitter paper and the Razzleberry.

I used a double stitched square die and die cut a piece of Basis Pink, then heat embossed my sentiment into the center. I used a glitter brush in pink and filled in the little hearts on the sentiment.

As a finishing touch to my first card, I added some clear acrylic drops.

For my second card, I die cut a stitched heart out of Royal Sundance Fiber in Rose and a circle for part of the sentiment "Home is where your mom is... And then cut Basis Pink with a banner die for the second part of the sentiment "#BESTMOMEVER."

I added more Acrylic drops to my second card as well as a finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by today!
