Sweet and Sparkly Donut Gift Box

I'll be honest... I love sweet treats a little too much (don't we all?!) After a busy day, my way of relaxing includes some sort of candy or anything sugary and Netflix. If you want to share your sweet addiction, here's an idea where you can spread some happy thoughts to a kind friend...all with sprinkles on top!

Supplies needed:

-Basic Cardstock in white
-Botanical Assorted Cardstock in Pink
-Premium Smooth Beach Side Cardstock in Brown
-Mirrisparkle Cardstock in Silver
-Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue
-Double-sided Foam Adhesive Strips

I began by cutting out my donut box in the pink and brown cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine.

Next, I used my Tombow glue to adhere the tabs together.

I continued until both the base and lid were made.

Using the Basic white cardstock, I printed a fun donut design that would fit on the lid. I love this cardstock because it's sturdy without it being too bulky to go through my printer.

To create some dimension on the box, I placed some foam adhesive strips on the donut and adhered it to the top of the box.

Now my favorite part! Using the silver Mirrisparkle cardstock, I cut out a tag shape. This cardstock is definitely on the top of my list of favorites. You get all the sparkle without glitter falling off everywhere. It really is a gorgeous paper!

I wanted a way to have text on the glitter paper, so I cut out my phrase with black adhesive vinyl and adhered it to the tag using some transfer tape.

Now that the hard part is done, fill the cute box with a tasty donut, tie the tag onto the box and give it to a well-deserving friend or family member!

Don't you think this sparkly tag would cheer up anyone?!

Gift-giving is so fun to me and I love finding creative ways to package them. Good quality cardstock is a must when it comes to handmade boxes and tags.

If you haven't tried out glitter cardstock, be sure to snag some and you won't be disappointed!!
