Shimmery Graduation Card

Graduations are happening all around us right now and I wanted to whip out a card that could be duplicated quickly and still have some pizazz! So, if you have a computerized cutter and some of Cut Card Stock's Stardream Metallic papers, this one is for you.
Let's put this one together quick as a wink. First, choose colors that coordinate with the graduate's school. You'll need one 8-1/2x11 sheet of the main colors and 2 sheets of the background color. I used Stardream Metallic Jupiter and Gold for the mains and Bronze for the background.
Trim the main colors to 3-1/2x11". Cut all numbers at 2-1/2" tall. Use one color to cut the "2's" with no modifiers or the basic cut and the "0" and "1" cut as outlines. Swap the order for the second color.
This is what you get if you use red and gold.
After cutting 2 mats of each color at 3x3", adhere the letters onto their outlines and their mats. Cut a background piece 6-3/8x7-1/2. Score down the 6-3/8" edge at 1/2".
Fold under the scored edge which will now become the fold of the card. Place it on the left side and adhere the four squares onto the background.
Check out this cool bottle cap I found. You can use one  by adding some dimensional adhesive under the cap or use a large brad to make the center of the graduation cap!
Make a tassel out of a few layers of a silk flower by knotting the end of a ribbon and threading it through. Add the tassel and bottle cap to the card.
Since the card base is dark be sure to add a light colored insert to write your greeting.
