Creating a card to match the couple's wedding colors is easy enough, and makes the card seem more personal. Here, the cover of the card is the metallic silver, with a vellum liner, and an ivory center. The edges are torn, and the blue letters are stickers.
In this pic, you can almost see how shiny this cardstock! |
Quick sticker trick: apply alphabet stickers from the outer edge in. This has kept me from running out of room numerous times!
Here's the vellum liner, also with a torn edge, folded (basically) in half. The envelope is Pop Tones Razzleberry.
Here is the cream center, also with torn edges, and stitched through the vellum to the silver shell with a coordinating raspberry lace. You'll find a simple how-to for the stitching HERE. The only other tip I would give for this style is to make sure you are happy with where your torn edges lay and show prior to stitching.
Not just this silver, but ALL the gold and silver cardstock is on sale this month at CutCardStock! You can follow CutCardStock on Facebook for all the sale and project updates.
