Looking for a thank you gifty or favor? These tiny tea wallets are perfect for a little thank you, or a birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, or even wedding favor.
These can be a simple or as intricate as you like. Each uses only 1/2 sheet of paper--I used Brilliant White Royal Sundance Felt in a coverstock weight, which was perfect for these favors. I ran it through the printer for the thank you tags, with fabulous results--the slightly textured surface of the paper and the hand lettered look to the font were a lovely pairing.
You can find any number of free, printable "Thank You" tags online. Any other stamping or embellishing is your call--I stuck to some simple trims, but Washi Tape would be great, as well.First, cut the 8 1/2 by 11 paper in half to 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. Second, fold the paper in half. Third, open the paper, and fold up about 1 1/2--tall enough to hold a Tea Packet .
While the paper is folded like a little book, punch a hole in the open end, about 1/2 inch in, making sure not to punch into the tea packet pocket. This is where the tag will be attached, and the wallet ties shut.
I finished off each of these tags and wallets a little differently--here the bottom of the tag is torn, and the trims are fall/Halloween appropriate.
Rounded corners, scalloped bottom to tags, pretty ribbon trim = bridal shower or wedding appropriate
The Royal Sundance papers are on sale this month, some really lush colors, along with the Brilliant White used for these wallets. You can find the specials HERE.
