Holiday Countdown Series, Day 6

Are you ready for another Holiday Countdown project?  I like to keep most of my Christmas projects fairly simple, especially those that are destined for a short life--but simple doesn't mean it can't be delightful, right?  So it is with this easy Envelope Advent Calendar.  You can make it as elaborate or as easy as you like, and it's a family, kid-friendly Christmas craft.
For this calendar, I used CutCardStock text weight red envelopes, but now I'm thinking sparkly metallic envelopes would have been even better.  Because, you know, shiny is nice, especially at Christmas!  Fortunately, CutCardStock has plenty of shiny envelopes, which you can find HERE.
Vary the layouts of each envelope, or use the same one--whatever you like!
These A6 envies have plenty of room for candies and little gifties, and are easily displayed nestled in the branches of your Christmas tree, clothespinned to a ribbon tied across your mantel, or placed in a pretty basket.

Stuff I used (more details on my blog):
text weight envelopes
collage images
adhesive;  Scor-Tape is perfect for this!
Wink of Stella glitter pen in gold (to color in the numbers and add sparkle)
vintage number rubber stamps
black ink
glitter paper, text weight
patterned papers
circle punches

Other stuff that would be fun and make for a family project friendly:
Christmas stickers, number stickers
rubber stamps
ribbon, sticky gems, glitter--any festive trims from your stash
