Savoy Cotton Dreaminess

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Hope that everyone's week is off to a great start. We are FINALLY starting to feel like spring in Chicagoland, and it is so invigorating! This is a very exciting time for my business as we approach WEDDING SEASON. Now, wedding season officially starts for me in January, as this is when I get many requests for invitation and save-the-date designs. But in the spring these events start to come to life, and it's so fun!

In my last posted I hinted about my love for Savoy Cotton card stock, and now I'm going to share why I love it... It's 100% cotton, so it has a luscious texture and weight to it. One touch and you immediately know that this is no ordinary paper! Savoy is now my go-to when I want my invitation or announcement to have a touch of elegance. And for wedding invitations, of course! I even keep a stack on-hand to use on my home printer. Can you tell I love it?

This wedding invitation was obviously printed on the Savoy. The texture of it is reminiscent of watercolor paper, so it further enhanced this concept. In fact, if I were to create hand-painted placecards for this wedding, I would definitely use the Savoy Cotton. It holds up well with watercolor painting.

I also added just a touch of glam to the suite with a Stardream Metallic Belly Band in Vista

Well, I best be getting back to work! Now it's time for thank you notes, menus and day-of signage for this wedding that is coming up quick. Cheers to wedding season! XOXO, Erin @eringermandesign
